WV-INBRE Summer Interns Share their Experiences with HSTA high school students

For the past several years our INBRE summer interns have spoken about their INBRE experiences to the HSTA students at the HSTA club meetings at their high schools. Once again several interns have stepped up and have spoken or will be speaking at HSTA meetings during the 2013 fall semester. Jaya Ale who attends the University of Charleston spoke at a HSTA club meeting at St. Albans High School on October 28 about her INBRE research. Brandon Kirby and Noah Mitchell who attend Bluefield State College hope to be speaking at HSTA club meetings near the end of November or in December. Andy Abrahamian who attends Shepherd University will be speaking at Berkeley Springs High School on December 17 and at Jefferson High School on December 18. Thank you to all of our INBRE interns for sharing their INBRE research experiences with these HSTA high school students and encouraging them to pursue careers in biomedical sciences.
